About the Author
Meet Dorothy
Dorothy Gonzalez is a passionate storyteller and seeker of truth. Her first book, Blinded by the Truth (May 2025), is a memoir of self-discovery and healing — the story of a mixed-race girl who grew up feeling different, and of the two voices that fought for her heart: God's voice, loving and true, and Ego's, the voice of doubt and pain.
Her second book, The Awakening: Blindfold Removed — Point of No Return, continues the journey: a transformative quest through grief toward hearing God's voice with clarity, and embracing a healthier, happier, more meaningful life.
Dorothy's hope is that her story resonates with anyone who has felt lost, unseen, or touched by God — reminding them they are not alone. While names have been changed to protect the innocent, the essence of her journey is as true and heartfelt as it gets.
